Big

If you were here a little over a year ago, you might remember the photo I posted of my girls and me.  It's difficult to get us all together at the same time to take a comparison photo, to show how much they are growing.  Saturday we had the occasion and, although difficult, I was able to round them all up for another photo, showing how big they are getting.  Just look at the three on the right... they've really grown!

*Note to self:  Don't wear horizontal stripes across your butt for photos!

Speaking of big, Michael left the hospital weighing 139 pounds.  He has put on many more since then and is doing well!   He had been cooking since the night before and was hot and sweaty, we all were, but he was still smiling.

The baby is really getting big.  Won't be long until I can't call him baby anymore.

I tried to get a photo of the Super Moon and was set up well in advance, to try to catch it on the horizon, when it looks the biggest.  You might know it came up at the end of the fishing pier and was already completely up and round before I managed to get moved so I could get some shots.  The clouds and moisture in the atmosphere didn't help, either.

Before I hit publish, this next photo is for Karen.  Love ya, girl!

Aww Ms A this is awesome. I remember being around for the first photo and it's crazy just the difference that 12 months make. I guess you almost won't be able to call the baby the baby any more very soon if not now, so adorable.

Great photos! I tried to take a picture of the super moon too but the wires for phone, electric, cable and who knows what else got in the way.
Oh and it's great to finally put a face with the name :o)

Like the moon shot, it's really good. I didn't even go outside to look, too many rain clouds.

Amazing how fast they grow. I've seen it over and over and over and it still surprises me.

And Michael looks a lot better than the last photo you posted. Glad he's doing well.

What a happy, happy post! Michael looks amazing and like he hasn't been so horribly ill a day in his life. So good to hear that everything seems to be settling down (and aren't you thrilled that The Girl is back to blogging again? I've missed her so)!

love this post my friend. I do remember that first photo. They grow so quiickly. Michael is looking great. Smooches!!! P.S. I do not own horizontal stripes. My daughter keeps telling me to get some outfits with stripes. I think you look lovely, maybe I will get some after all.

I'm so happy Michael's doing so well. Love the smile on his face.
And oh my gosh Ms. A, that moon shot is awesome! What a great capture and composition. Love the color and having the bit of pier in there really makes it special. What settings and lens did you use?

First, I am so very proud of you. You know why. And I just love the composition in the photos of you and the girls..You should do it every year as they grow. You will all cherish these pics as time rolls on.

Second.. Michael looks fantastic!!!.. Wow, what a difference a little time and healing make.

And I have never taken such a beautiful shot of the moon, now I'm the one green with envy. You go girl.

Beautiful family. I have a big goofy smile on my face.
Oh and thanks for a shot of the super moon, I'd missed it this year.

Your photo of the Super Moon is superb, even if you did have to move around to get it. I agree that children grow up entirely too fast, That young man will soon object to being the 'baby' of the family. I'm glad to hear that Michael is doing well.

One of the best things about family life is the memories. These photos are a great part of those memories.
The photo of the moon is a great one!
