Halloween

My youngest Son loves the holidays, especially Halloween.  He never fails to come up with creative costumes for the parties he attends.  At a recent gathering of friends (he has tons of friends) they carved some pumpkins.  I'd like to share them with you, if you have a minute.

And... I just happen to have a couple of shots of a past costume!

Pretty cool, huh!  By the way... my Son carved the Phil Collins pumpkin.

Thanks, Son... I love you!

Happy Halloween!

Wow - that Phil Collins pumpkin is AMAZING!!! And those costumes are frightful. I'd pee my pants if someone looking like that jumped out of the bushes in front of me!

Oh my Gawwwd, those pumpkins are simply amazing, total works of art, every one - the Phil Collins one is utterly spectacular.

And, eeeeeeeeeek, that's one scary monster standing there, sooo eerily convincing, isn't he? I'd be terrified to answer the door to THAT!

What a creaive and talented son you have.

Thanks for sharing!

Your son reminds me of my best bud. Halloween is his favorite holiday and he goes ALL out for it.

I have to admit, Halloween brings a bad memory (death of a loved one) so I can't get into it anymore.

WOW, was there an owl in that top pic? And we like Phil Collins but we LOVE Zombies!
Way to go...isn't it fun to never grow up too much, have lots of friends, and get to be a Zombie and carve pumpkins your whole life through? Way TO GO!

I love Halloween! We taught our girls to carve pumpkins when they were in elementary school ... those carving kits with the teeny little saws make it so safe and fun for kids. My husband would be the trick-or-treat parent with them, and I stayed home to hand out candy and marvel at the costumes of neighborhood children.

The girls are grown now, and we live in the country where trick-or-treaters don't go, so the Halloweens of the past are just a memory.

The pumpkins your son and his friends carved are just fantastic. I can hardly believe the intricate carving in your second photo. His costume is also amazing. I will say that he's a very handsome man when not in costume, but I'll bet you already knew that.

Those pumpkins are remarkable... your son and his friends are very talented -- and inventive! The zombie costume was disturbing. Guess that means he succeeded with it! LOL! Wow -- hope he has a blast with Halloween this year!

He has real talent, and he sure knows how to creepify himself. That costume was amazingly awful (in a good way).

He sounds like our oldest daughter. Totally into Halloween. I think her best costume ever was the Corpse Bride. It felt so wrong though to rip up and spray paint a used wedding dress...ha!

I've never seen such elaborate carvings. Very impressive.
Thanks for ending this post with the gorgeous couple rather than that freaky face. Shiver.
