We had a baby opossum do that once. Went outside with the dogs, and there were two beady little eyes staring at me. I talked to him, trying to distract the dogs at the same time, and the little opossum froze in place. When they do that, it's really easy to get a good look at 'em. Yours isn't an opossum, though, is it?
we had that happen in Orlando. I actually felt bad for him because he had an injured eye and seemed like a loner, so we let him eat and then off he would go. not towards our house. lol
HA---strangest bird I've ever seen. YUK..... Made me think about our nuisance chipmunks and squirrels that LOVE to visit our bird feeders (whether they are welcome or not).
Oh good night. I would have screamed and jumped like a girl had I seen that dude in my bird feeder. LOL. Very strange site indeed and very smart feller.

Erm, well I guess you'll have to go with ratatouille rather than chicken and dumplings?
Wingless Wednesday?
I've never seen a bird with a tail like that before. :)
Hope you are having a great week!
