A picture is worth a thousand words .... a first anniversary (for me) was worth many, many more. It's all about love and family. And I can see that in every picture. The first anniversary was also, again to me, a point of KNOWING I can survive this journey .... not by myself .... but as long as I have family and friends loving me, pushing me to add to the faith I have in myself & God.

Be well!!

PS: I loved the shirt that Mike has on and the one he received .... I have those sentiments often, but I repress them.

That is honestly the only time I've ever seen photos of a festivity where EVERYONE looked beautiful! One question has to be asked: Were the guests advised not to show up if they were contagious with anything? I ask because groups of people make me nervous now.

What wonderful gifts: strong new life in his chest, and the knowledge (if he didn't have it before) that he is much loved. That is as much as anyone could ever ask for.
