Gmail VS Yahoo

You would think after several years of blogging things would get easier, but that is not the case.  Seems most bloggers I comment to use gmail to receive notification of comments left on their posts.  This wasn't a problem in the past, at least not that I was aware.  Now, when I leave a comment, I receive an email notification of "failure".  It looks something like this:

I have no clue how to fix this, but if you are noticing certain regular bloggers aren't showing up in your comments, I suggest you check your spam folder, or, you can go to "Comments" on the blogger dashboard to see what has been posted to your blog that you may not have seen.  If you moderate your comments, you may need to check often, or the unmoderated comments will linger in limbo.  I'm also hearing that Yahoo isn't the only email that this is happening to.

This is what my inbox looks like now.  It is so frustrating!

yahoo and aol are both getting rejection notices from gmail, now. and i hate it!

since tightening their security protocols, google/blogger has taken one more step towards forcing folks to use their products (gmail).

Yep! Blogger/Google want us to use Chrome as our web browser and gmail for our email. Everything works well when using all google products, but explorer web browsing and other email platforms are problematic.
It's all free but that's the price paid...all works well when using all Google products.
Blessings,
Cindy

I'm not surprised, really. When I first got my android I had to switch to gmail because for whatever reason it refused to push any of my yahoo mail through. Instead of playing nice, Google is making it very difficult for people to use what they prefer.

Thanks for the heads up though. I was missing your comments.

I wish I could help clear things out for you but I also get lost with all those technicalities of aols and htmls and rsss. I mean, can't they leave us blogging in peace? :P

Anyhoo, have a great week ahead. :)

I thought technology was supposed to make like easier, not more frustrating.

I do know that a change was made to Chrome recently. It has wreaked havoc on our business email. When I was talking to our email host they said they were working on the issue and it would take time because they were not notified of Googles changes until too late. Great huh?

It all sucks!!

Well, my blogging has been spotty of late, so I've not been really aware of anything different. As I have a gmail address, I wonder if that will make a difference. I've not received any of those notices myself. Hope all is well with you today!

Well, I just checked the comments on my blog yesterday, and there was one from you! I didn't ever receive a notice, I don't believe, so I may be affected with this problem now. Perhaps I just need to send you my daily email communications.:-)

I have no idea why that is going on with your email. I did notice you left comments on my blog and I had no idea you had until I just happened to check it to reply to a comment from someone. I did not receive an email notification. This is the first time it has happened. I got them in the past.

Yes, my comments don't get delivered. I could use another email provider but I don't have time to check all my email as it is.

I've been getting those, too! So frustrating!

That is very odd and very controlling. Eventually, there will be a war between Amazon and Google, to see who will run the world.
