Do you have neuropathy that goes with that too? I can only imagine the pain that you might feel. I'm so sorry. Please know you have my prayers- for all you have been through and for all you are going through. Much love to you~

I'm sure hoping you are on the upswing, finding more good days than bad, feeling stronger as time goes along. And Thank you again for giving us all an education on the effects of those particular drugs.

Margaret (Peggy or Peg too) said...

I'm so sorry Cora. I hope you get stronger. Do they think you will recover from this or is it life long?
Hey, but your nails looks strong and hard. That is a good thing. I know it sounds silly but since my low iodine and thyroid issues mine could never ever be that long!!
((hugs))

I can't believe that something could cause damage to your fingers like that. Is it permanent? I am so sorry.

Ami said...

I can't imagine why they're still prescribing this stuff!
That's horrible. :(

I do hope your fingers will get better. Thinking of you...

The last thing I knew, you were talking to me about the fact I can ONLY take Cipro, being allergic to everything else. Now I'm seeing deteriorating muscles and tendons in your fingers. We need an email here, please. I have no idea. Is this neuropathy? Tendon damage? Reynald's syndrome?

Terri said...

Oh my goodness- bless your heart! I told my daughter about the cipro deal and she had never heard of it either. I won't be taking anything but amoxycilan(sp) from now on.

Hi Cora, Somehow your message got sent to my laptop --and I just got it today.

So sorry about the damage to your fingers. I got some neuropathy damage to my feet when my blood sugar was so high in about 2004. I have no more problems with my blood sugar now that I keep my weight under control and eat healthy and exercise.. BUT--the damage is THERE....

Hope you are gradually feeling better.
Hugs
Betsy
