November MCats Part 3

I mentioned in Part 2 that we were closely watching nine Monarch caterpillars, hoping some of them would decide to hang around.  Five have decided to do just that... literally!

FANTASTIC shots but isn't it getting too cold for them? Oh well I guess they know better than I what is too cold or not...

I've been hopping around on your blog tonight. Sorry to hear that your son was back in the hospital, but glad to hear that he's doing better now. My middle son's birthday is October 20th too, but I think he's 43. (Geesh...I'm his mother and you'd think I'd know.) I guess those were pictures from the airshow in October? Interesting to read about your daughter and son-in-law's experience with Craig's list. Good to know. Can't wait to see the butterflies! I love western North Carolina. One of my favorite places. Haven't been there is years though.

my middle boy has always been fascinated by caterpillars. He has books and books on them, and I don't think he'll ever outgrow how interesting they are to him. Can't wait to show him these pictures tomorrow.
