this is a gorgeous countryside, perfect for walking and clearing the mind, soothing the soul, tragedy never ends.

What a beautiful place.... a haven.

Couldn't help but notice the leaves off the trees. It's either a VERY early fall in your neck of the world, or these are from last year's spring/fall. Either way the pictures are beautiful and peaceful.

First thing that struck me was how green everything was. Man, it's brown here. Beautiful Cora!

I think they are beautiful shots - but why the sadness what did I miss?

I'm thinking you were on a walk and the title is because you had far to go.

Beautiful place! Lovely springtime photos! Crying shame... is this paradise only history today?

Lovely place! I guess the "Wordless" part is leaving us all mystified.

These are marvelous rural scenes which you've captured very well. It looks as if these could have been taken here in Tennessee. Like others, I'm curious about the crying shame.

Beautiful set of photos, Ms. A. Is it a crying shame because it's been taken over by developers?

That kinda looks like NC mountain country to me...is it? Why is it a shame?

And, more importantly, were you here and didn't tell me? ;-)

Crying Shame????? Is that property which used to be yours and is no longer?????? That is a gorgeous area. Some of the photos look like they were taken in late winter/early spring....

Hugs,
Betsy

Ok I am trying to piece the puzzle together! A barn and two houses, and a far piece to walk between them. Hmmm! Ok, I give! (Lovely barn and mountain view BTW)

Did you have to give it up? If so I'm sorry. It's such a gorgeous area. I would be heartbroken.

Perhaps someday it will bring you or another some joy -- xo

Western NC is gorgeous! Do you hope to build on the property one day and move here?
