Beautiful! Great pictures! He/she seems to be planning to take swim? :)

What a cutie, albeit a tad suspicious. Perhaps he or she is wondering what lies beneath the grass skirt?

Beautiful photos Ms A! The best thing here is that he genuinely doesn't seem to have a concern in the world, he doesn't even look like he's bothered about the presence of a photographer, just awesome.

Has me humming the song from Sesame Street ... "one of these things just doesn't belong here ..."

Cool! I don't know my birds but that doesn't look like your normal backyard variety where I come from.

oh my gosh! so cute! i hope he will be okay in the wild!

He's a cutie but isn't he someone's pet? Though when I was in the Florida keys, a whole flock of wild parrots flew by. Was told that at one time, one (I think it would have had to been two)of them was someone's pet.

Always a happy day when I see you post!

Love the one where he's gazing down into the pool... contemplating a dip or a sip? ... someone most be missing a cockatiel.

These are wonderful photos of your backyard visitor. I especially like the second photo where he is cocking his head as if to ask what you're doing.

Take care!

Wow---he is gorgeous. Bet you were surprised to see one in your yard... Wonder if he is someone's pet---that has escaped... Hope he can make it in the 'wild'....

Hugs,
Betsy

There is never anything interesting in my yard. Just the random rabbit.

What a beautiful bird! But I have to know, is he someone's pet?

He belongs in a cage. LOL Beautiful bird.

Uh oh, do you think it's an escapee from somewhere? What a cutie pie!

Chana Meddin said...

Extraordinary and whimsical, Ms.A, are you able to feed and capture him? He wears a band, obviously someone has lost their pet although he seems happy as Pie to be free to hang with YOU! Hope if you are able to find his owner he can return home safely. Your photograps...perhaps my favorites EVER?! YOWZA, you NAILED ALL THAT PERSONALITY IN EVERY IMAGE :) STUNNING!

How fascinating and what a wonderful bird. He doesn't seem at all fearful, does he? It seems really strange seeing these birds in the wild....rather like the time I saw a humming bird when we were having a hop in LA! joan

Great shots of a real beauty!
I see he has a band on. Do you have any idea who might own him? Can you catch him?
