I popped over from Nancy's when I read your comment. I thought "I have to learn more about this blogger." I love what you write about yourself in your introduction! I also like your picture of the tree. In some circles I'm known as a tree hugger as they are such wonderful creations who could tell so many tales!! Joan
She looks like a survivor from the places some man has chain-sawed her limbs, yet she only grew stronger and more beautiful for it. Makes me miss the South. And nothing much makes me miss the South, but that tree does. That beautiful mother, holds nests in her arms, shields many from the heat, invites all to come beneath her for respite...like "Steel Magnolias" she is SOME tree and you caught her in your lens exactly in her GLORY.
Oh I love trees! These are fabulous trees!! Thank you for coming to check up on me & for visiting my blog again after all these years. Yes it actually has been THAT long. *sigh*
now I find the dog photo hilarious. I took it because the dog is cute! lol :) thanks for making me laugh. my photo is even better then I thought, hahahaha. happy day sweetie :) xxo
Incredible!!! I think this is a hermaphrodite tree. Normally I can feel if they're a male or a female tree, but this tree has both!! No scientific backing, just a game I play in my head when I go on walks. Oh that tree's a guy. Oh that one is a girl. Dumb, I know.

Gorgeous! I love trees! My neighbor has a camphor tree that I'm in love with. Seriously, my boyfriend has competition. ; )
Old trees are great. I love how they can grow sometimes.
I would love to have that in my yard!
I love these photos. I'd love to count the rings inside the tree to see how old they really are.
Magnificent!!! I love big old trees...
Interest. Old as the hills I'd say. Actually I'm getting there myself...:(
WOW can't help but wonder how old that tree is!
I just love the character in old trees. Oh, the stories they could tell us, huh?
Now that is a fantastic tree!
I have a "thing" for trees.

I love trees, except for the huge mess they leave in our yard. #bitchenismymiddlename

Looks like that old tree has alot of character.... If it could talk, I'll bet it would have a story or two to tell.

That must be a Live Oak. I have one in my yard, but it's nothing like that one. I love the trunk. Back in my day we'd call that a great climbing tree.
Old and beautiful! LOVE that tree!
Now that's a tree!
