Great Email

I was visiting my son last night when I asked if I could borrow a newspaper.

"This is the 21st century", he said. "I don't  waste money on newspapers. Here, you can borrow my iPad."

I can tell you this, that darn fly never knew what hit him.

Gee. This is something I thought of a long time ago, but in the meantime I got so old that newspapers are fine by me.

Except I know they're trying to save money by using less black ink and making the letters too small to read.

So many magazines are going digital, but I NEED to dog-ear a page for safe keeping.

That's a feature we need on an iPad. A strengthened back complete with a fly swatter design for aesthetic look.

I only get the Sunday paper now and only for the coupons, sales ads, and to have something to start the grill in the summer and fire in the winter ;o)

You made me laugh so hard---I LOVE IT.

But I am so old-fashioned.....I cherish "comfort" things ....comfort foods....comfort PJ's that I wear when I have a cold and have the luxury of lying around all day. One of my favorite "comforts" is curling up on Sunday morning and reading the newspaper from back to front and doing the puzzles.......mmm-mmm!

HA HA HA---you are so funny. We don't get newspapers anymore either ---although our community paper comes FREE to us (whether we want it or not). Makes for some great fire-starters...

Hubby has an iPad and loves it. I still use a Laptop--but there's plenty of news on both of them.

Hugs,
Betsy
