I don't think that I could get so close to any of these without a whole lot of panicking, great photos as usual.

The eyes on that spider are going to haunt me now.

I don't mind bugs, some of them can look pretty cool, but I still don't want any on me.

I do not like that spider. Nope.

I'm glad you found all those at your house and not mine!

Awesome photography. The second to last grasshopper could win an award....beautiful job. And that orange bug, just lovely (the photo, not the bug). :)

they seem to be thinking more and working harder than people!

Wow! Actually, up close and personal they are so well-crafted each bug is. Just look at that (is it a?) grasshopper and his "armor!" Thanks, Ms.A, for showing me - AGAIN - tremendous beauty in details through your lens. I can't say I would want them on me, either, but through your camera they are quite lovely, actually. I see a book in your posts since getting your new camera, BTW...the pics and your posts DO TELL A STORY and over time a "style" - your way of seeing - is making its mark! Well done, as ever!!! Love Wordless Wednesday. (Too bad I have to use so many words.)

Great pictures, and wasn't that wasp nest just amazing.

WOW!

These are stunning photo's, MsA!

Hunter got stung by a wasp the other day, and I had to hunt up the nest! Bye bye to them!

They don't creep me out to see them. Actually, everyone is pretty unique in it's own way. They're all part of nature and have a purpose I suppose on the food chain and reason for being here; but just keep them off of me. I can't stand having a bug crawling on me or giving me a freaky stare down.

Insects are bugs but not all bugs are insects, hence your title is great along with the pictures!

What is it with you and bugs? BIG : )

Nice pics, regardless of your creepy subjects.

THat first shot of the spider and his eyes would so make Joey faint.

Maybe I should show it to him. . . ; )

Yikes.

OK I admit I a bit of a freak (in a good way) when it comes to bugs when they get into the house. I catch them and bring them outside and free them before hubby steps on them, yucky!

These are just amazing. I love the grasshopper.

Those are some of the best bug photos I've ever seen. Well done!

By the way, I am the same as Jen (except I'm a guy, of course.) I catch and release, as possible. Wrote something about it, a long time ago...

I love bugs...when they are outside where they belong and are not biting me!

Beutiful... Yikes I can't believe I said that.... I tend to think of those old B movies where the bugs having been radiated grow very large and take over the world.

What great photos, Ms. A! You have captured these guys beautifully!

Gorgeous. As my eyes begin to not focus so well on the little things (great for my wrinkles, I tell ya... I'm 10 years younger without my glasses on), I truly appreciate the details in these "little things" that you share here.

Beautiful, except the spider. I can't help but feel he's looking right at me.

I have a feeling those eyes will be in my dreams tonight ; )But that yellow bug is very cool!

I like best the third photo.. not sure if it's a lady bug. Did you take all of these? You are getting better and better :)

You're getting to be very, very good with macro photography. I like the eyes on that spider as well.
