He Makes My Pulse Quicken

There's a new man in my house.  He's quite dashing and handsome and makes my pulse quicken every time I see him... because he startles the crap out of me!

For the past couple of days he has been residing in the sun room.  His presence even startled hubby when he woke up from a nap in his recliner.  He decided it might be a good idea to have the new man face the wall, since he isn't as startling that way and neither of us can seem to remember he's here.

After talking to my daughter Wednesday, I thought maybe she and the girls might stop by, so I decided to see if I could play a little trick on them.  I got the new man situated just inside the door of the sun room, where he wouldn't be visible until you stepped in.  They didn't stop by and I didn't think anymore about it... until I went to use the printer and the joke was on me!!!

I totally get it.....mainly because I know I would forget about him too and scare myself when I came across him.

Haha that's pretty amazing Ms A, I'd be pretty scared having a cut out like that in my room too.

Ah thanks to Gigi's comment I get it!
Reminds me of my new microwave. Because it's white and the old one was black on the outside, white on the inside, every time I went by it I thought it was open and I would turn to shut it only to find that it wasn't open, just the new microwave. Took me several weeks to get use to it. Think the same will happen to you. But hey, if you have some strange man in your house, at least he is well dressed and groomed!

He is a handsome dude!

Love this!

My favorite line in the commercials is, "He wouldn't be afraid to show his feminine side ... if he had one."

Who can compete with the most interesting man in the world?

So funny!!

Back when Mr. Wonderful and I were dating, I had a bit of a thing for Michail Barishnikov and Mr. W got me a life sized poster of him. I decided to put it on the back of my bedroom door. Everytime I closed that door, I jumped and shrieked, thinking someone was there. Ha!

Hmm...I wonder whatever happened to that poster....??

I once watched a show about Michael Jackson. It showed how he'd rented a whole floor of a hotel and populated it with mannequins.

Do you sing, dance and grab your crotch when you do so?

If not, I think you're probably okay..

LOL!
I don't like being startled but; if he looks like that, it's not such a bad thing at all ;)
"STAY THIRSTY, my friends"

WAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaah! Too funny! I seriously ask myself what a conversation with the most interesting man in the world would actually be like: "That panther on your kitchen top...Uh, is he litter trained?"

Oh that would unnerve me to the core. I used to have a friend who had just an armless, top half of a mannequin in her house - it didn't even have a wig - and it was constantly freaking me out. Even she'd catch it out of the corner of her eye and startle on a regular basis - and she lived with the thing!

Ha Ha! You forgot the most interesting man in the world was there? Uh Oh, there goes his self esteem ; )

This is certainly one way to get the blood flowing quickly. I'd probably scare myself to death each time I walked into the room.

"When in Rome, they do as HE does." WOW. Those commercials even got me to try DosEquos...or DosEquis? Who cares. I have my fantasies.

I do not know if it’s just me or if everybody else encountering issues with your site. It seems like some of the text in your content are running off the screen. Can someone else please provide feedback and let me know if this is happening to them as well? This might be a problem with my browser because I’ve had this happen previously. Cheers

Anonymous, since I don't have a clue who you are, I can't provide any feedback. I haven't heard anyone else mention having an issue like you describe, but the text isn't running off the screen for me. Perhaps you should decrease the text size and see if that helps.

How cool!

I've been wanting a "Sheldon" like this for months.

But I think I'd rather have him standing in my office.

Love you blog. Nice photos on "Camera Play." Talented!
