To Xfinity And Beyond

During the recent Blog Out, it gave me a tiny bit of comfort to know I wasn't suffering alone.  Not sure if anyone else in blogland has been struggling with the new Xfinity business, but I certainly have.  Surprisingly, there were only minor glitches and interruptions to my cable service.  Phone and internet, on the other hand, have been a real nightmare.  When I think back over the years, to all the hours I've spent on the phone... hours I will never get back... talking to people whose accents I struggled to understand, it makes me want to scream.  Thinking about all the money we've paid them, for all the aggravation, doesn't make me a happy camper, either.

I THINK I'm up and running, again, for now.  We'll see how long it lasts.

Special thanks to my oldest son, for running telephone interference for me.  Hearing the land line ring, music to my ears.  Having my internet working, wonderful.  Two Advil for the headache... PRICELESS!

Just so this post isn't a total rant, I'm adding a recent picture of the ever growing, ever changing, "Chunky Monkey", fresh from a bath, smelling sweet.

Amazing, isn't it, how we get so dependent on our technology and the day is SHOT if our Internet is down.

The little fella is growing like a weed! What a little cutie.

Glad to read that I am not the only person who still has their land line phone....

Oh my God Chunky Monkey is so damn yummy!

Okay Comcast is so bad they had to change their name to Ixfinity. Do you know I wrote this post a few years back when I had them for an ISP and it was called Comcast Sucks. That post had them call me. Not my calls, not my emails - no they ignored me but this post did it. They didn't like that that title was on the internet they told me. So of course I googled that and there were 100's of pages saying the same thing.
That incident had me rip out cable and go with fiber optics. (fios) Now the only issues I have are what blogger does to me. Phones and ISP are working fine now. Consider changing if you can. Comcast/Ixfinity still sucks. But I am glad you are back up and running.

And as twins....You know damn well that I have a landline and comcast/xfinity and all that you are is apparently all that I am. Cool! We are soul sisters! Muah!

I got rid of my landline a couple years ago. Best decision I ever made!

Our 'little one' is getting bigger every day...and whoever invented Skype is a genius!

We still have two land lines. We are really hicks out here. Our little stretch of road does not have cable. Loved the picture of that baby. I love babies!!

I am with ya. Hate technology. Even hate it worse when it doesn't work or work right. LOL. Adorable pic. Love the babies.

That baby!

We had our sprinkler-system-guy out a few days ago and he CUT THROUGH our cable line. Oye to the vey!!

We had NOTHING. My husband followed me around the house like a lost puppy. He had no idea what to do without technology. Ha!

Glad you're up and running again!

For some reason when blogger was down I just moved on to other projects, and by the way, got lots accomplished even some mending. A few years ago I would have had anxiety and frustration steaming out my ears. Not so these days. I am so grateful for how far I have come.

This is a sweet picture. Just out of the bath was always a fun time for me and my kids. I haven't been around my grandkids in a few years now but I did have time with them when they were this small.
