So lovely. Especially since winter is truly moving in and I dread the long, dark nights and cold days.

I sound a little bitter! lol

They are beautiful but also tragic as some of them look like they're dying.

I didn't know that mother in law's tongue (first photo, that's what my mother always called it) has flowers. I had one for 20+ years and it never bloomed :/

These are beautiful macros of your plant life. We had a heavy frost Monday night, so we don't have much left in our yard.

The details are stunning! You and your "magic lens" have given us spring in winter, and a different way of seeing, as well! Love it!

I love these photos---all of them, but I think #3 is my favorite. Did you take these photos around your own yard?

I'd love to have a collection of your photos for a coffee table book!!

Love your pictures today, Ms. A. I should try to be "wordless" sometime. How unusual THAT would be!

Lovely. The very first place I had Excy drive me when I was able to get out while we were living in Atlanta was their botanical garden...I craved nature...I think I was a druid in a former life....sure missed you, too...

Love your pics of nature! So wonderful how she cooperates with minor movements created by a breeze. Sure ain't like photographing grandkids who won't sit still!!

It's always lucky #3 for me here: that one looks like something from another planet. My boys voted on #3, too.

Just so interesting in type, pattern, unique.

Amazing that they're coming out now. I guess the cooler weather is a relief! A friend told me she had bluebonnets coming up in her yard right now!

I think I have to agree with The Empress: #3 is a fantastic macro, nice and clear and sharp! Well done!

no words needed for these beauties!! xo

I tried to leave a wordless comment but the comment thing wouldn't let me.

So...

Now I'm resorting to words...

...which are quite limited in expressing how cool these pictures are.

My favorites are the first one, the second one, the third one...

...ummm...

Never mind!

They're all quite fabulous!
